Insomnia
Sitting here in front of my Acer Aspire laptop at 1:40 am, insomnia has taken its full toll on me and sleep has been long forgotten. I've been spending these past few sleepless nights with a good book. Namely, Odd Thomas. Occasionally, I would work on 139 or Lost Regalia but either way, both activities tires me to no end.
It occurs to me just how much energy it requires for me to fully utilize my talent of imagination, one of the two talents that I will agree that I have. The other being a basic copyist. As realistic as the images produced in my heads are, the temporal joy it gives also have side effects in which I experience overly crappy insomnia with equally overly crappy tiredness. In short, fucked up nights.
The bed is a bundle of paradoxes: we go to it with reluctance, yet we quit it with regret; we make up our minds every night to leave it early, but we make up our bodies every morning to keep it late. ~Charles Caleb Colton
